How the conversion works
Valorant turns you 0.07° per mouse count at sens 1; Overwatch 2 turns 0.0066°. To keep the same physical movement, the sens scales by the ratio of those yaws: 0.07 ÷ 0.0066 = 10.6061. Your DPI stays out of it as long as it's the same in both games.
Overwatch 2 uses one of the fastest scales (yaw 0.0066), which is why its numbers look so much larger: an Overwatch 5.0 is far tamer than a CS2 5.0. CoD and Warzone share the same scale.
Assumes the same DPI in both games; the number that transfers between games is the physical distance (cm/360). Most pros land between 25 and 55 cm.
Quick reference (at 800 DPI)
| Valorant sens | Overwatch 2 sens | cm/360 |
|---|---|---|
| 0.200 | 2.12 | 81.6 cm |
| 0.350 | 3.71 | 46.7 cm |
| 0.500 | 5.30 | 32.7 cm |
| 0.700 | 7.42 | 23.3 cm |
| 1.000 | 10.61 | 16.3 cm |
What changes between Valorant and Overwatch 2
Valorant's hipfire value is Sensitivity: Aim, kept to three decimals. Scopes are governed by the Scoped Sensitivity Multiplier (default 1.0), which scales off hipfire. Pros mostly sit between 0.25 and 0.45 at 800 DPI.
Overwatch 2 runs a 1 to 100 slider with two decimals and no config file. Scoped heroes (Widowmaker, Ashe, Ana) use Relative Aim Sensitivity While Zoomed, a percentage of hipfire. Pros mostly sit between 4 and 7 at 800 DPI.
Overwatch numbers look huge: a Valorant 0.4 is an Overwatch 4.24. The game accepts two decimals, so 4.24 is what you type. For Widowmaker and Ashe, Overwatch's Relative Aim Sensitivity While Zoomed is a percentage of hipfire and takes the place of Valorant's scoped multiplier.
Questions
How do I convert Valorant sensitivity to Overwatch 2?
Multiply your Valorant sens by 10.6061 (the ratio of the games' yaw values, 0.07 / 0.0066). At the same DPI this keeps your physical mouse movement identical: 0.5 in Valorant becomes 5.30 in Overwatch 2.
Does my Valorant scoped or ADS sensitivity carry over to Overwatch 2?
Not by itself. In Valorant, scopes use the Scoped Sensitivity Multiplier, a factor applied to your hipfire sens (default 1.0). In Overwatch 2, scoped heroes use Relative Aim Sensitivity While Zoomed, a percentage of hipfire. Convert hipfire with the multiplier above, then set Overwatch 2's scoped value so it matches how you have Valorant set up.
Do I need the same DPI in both games?
The simple multiplier assumes the same DPI. If you change DPI too, use the full formula: target sens = (source DPI × source sens × source yaw) ÷ (target DPI × target yaw). The converter above handles this automatically.
